Jason Bourne (2016)

Like a victory lap for Greengrass and Damon. Not as good as ‘ultimatum’ — more conventional higher budget set pieces and comparatively baggy in between. The scene around Paddington feels more distinct and has an admirable respect for the geography of the area though (that’s what i look for in my films, a respect for geography). The facebook stuff doesn’t have as much bite as the war on terror backdrop of the earlier films. Overall solid but a bit of a let down perhaps.
