Extraction (2020)

Feels like “The Raid” or “The night comes for us” but without any of the personality of those films. Blandly efficient, looks like a videogame, or rather a series of video games— there’s the need-for-speed:hot-pursuit bit, there’s the one-on-one beat ‘em up bit (street fighter style complete with exotic backdrop), and of course endless FPS bits (Black and Far Cry 2 being the most aesthetically similar, the former’s bridge section feels very much like the climactic scene here). Anyway, yeah, it’s alright and i’m probably going to immediately watch the sequel.
