Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984)

Problematic content aside (racism etc) seeing this back to back with ’raiders’ really highlights its weaknesses. Spielberg’s shot blocking and handling of the action are still great but the script is just a bunch of stuff rammed together, where in the earlier film each scene flows naturally from the last. The opening in the nightclub is fantastic though.
