Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga (2024)

Fantastic.

Not sure there are many film series where the 5th one is the best.

Watching again at home I was struck by how quiet a lot of the film is. Where most modern action films would have a bombastic sound track this is confident enough to rein all that stuff in and let the visuals do the work. And confident enough to take its time, it feels quite old fashioned in that sense, it’s long but not overstuffed.

Also I was able to pay more attention to the dialogue this time round which is funnier than I remembered.
