Puzzle Poker is based on Reiner Knizia's Deck Buster game which I used to enjoy playing on my iPad until the developer stopped updating it and it became incompatible with newer versions of iOS.
The game was written by Tom Pearson
The aim of the game is to get a high score by completing five card poker hands on the rows of the grid.
When a row is complete the cards which have been placed on that row disappear allowing you to make further hands and score more points — actually it's a bit more complicated than that; only the bottom row gets cleared immediately the middle and top row need to wait for the lower rows to be filled in before they can drop off.
More difficult hands score higher and completing hands also adds more cards to your deck letting you to play for longer and increase your score further. The first time you complete a particular hand you'll get some bonus points and some bonus cards.
One last thing: The deck only has 32 cards (no 2's, 3's, 4's, 5's or 6's so the probablilities of getting the rarer hands aren't as formidable as they might otherwise be.
